Weeks after securing its amended cannabis license from Health Canada, Motif accelerates operations to usher in new wave of international cannabis products
AYLMER, ONTARIO, February 2, 2021 — Motif Labs (“Motif”), a Licensed Producer (LP) of cannabis products in Canada and leader in cannabinoid extraction, purification, and formulation, has received its first purchase order from the British Columbia Liquor Distribution Branch (BCLDB). Through Motif, residents of the province will soon have access to a new range of high-quality cannabis 2.0 products, developed by some of the world’s top-performing cannabis brands. Today’s announcement cements Motif’s position as a trusted and credible partner to third-party brands and LPs looking to enter Canada’s lucrative cannabis market and launch in retail stores.

The news also comes on the heels of Motif receiving its amended Health Canada cannabis license, in January.
Effective today, Motif will begin fulfilling its first provincial purchase order to the BCLDB, with additional shipments to Canada’s provinces and territories to follow this quarter. Motif’s first product shipment is scheduled to arrive in British Columbia on February 8, 2020.
